The Chateau d’Ax story began in the postwar period, due to the enthusiasm and passion of its founder in understanding the change in the taste of the period. That was only the beginning.

In 1953, Chateau d’Ax opened a family run business in Lentate sul Seveso – Milan (Italy). Chateau d’Ax is one of the many companies that started in this country but this is only the first chapter of a long story that, thanks to its founder, still continues today in the continents.

The beginning of the sixties marked a major change to its image. In fact, Chateau d’Ax started to use new materials for their items and entered into collaborations with famous architects. These associations allowed Chateau d’Ax to move into contemporary design while keeping the family tradition.

1972 was a great year for Chateau d’Ax as it opened the first factory in Lentate sul Seveso. The company was inherited by the next generation. This has been a great success with new ideas, product development and innovations that have met the markets new requests.

Chateau d’Ax has worked with passion for 50 years

A range of products consists of more than 300 models including sofas, armchairs, sleep sofas, beds and suites, with infinite combination of colors to be chosen for the leather, fabric or micro-fibre to be used on them.

All the models are produced in the company’s factories and great care is taken in all phases. The entire process is ISO 9002 certified.

Today, Chateau d’Ax products are to be found in more than ninety markets on all five continents, with weekly production rate exceeding 50,000 seats.

The principal goal of the company is to give everyone the opportunity to express themselves by customizing the furniture in all areas of their home.
